19th Sept
I spent a couple of hours doing my homework at the library. But later I found that I spent most of that time dreaming. :-( When I woke up, I was still gripping a pencil. Well, I had a premonition that would happen at the moment I walked into there. LOL I gave up and decided to do it at home. Then, after having dinner and a cup of Milo, I got a phone call from Nicola. About fifteen minutes later, she picked me up and we did her Japanese quizzes and my homework together. I doubted if I’m Japanese or… I wasn’t sure about a definition about “somo somo” and “moto moto” although I can slightly feel the difference. OMG, my language is really difficult. :-/ Or I suck at Japanese. Anyway, it was really really great because I learned lots of new expressions and words which I know in Japanese but can’t express or haven’t thought about in English. Also it was such a good opportunity to focus on my own language and cast my mind back if I studied Japanese hard. LOL Oh, I got tours of Nicola and Trish’s new house. Both are awesome!!! WOW!!!

23rd Sept, 06
A week has passed since I came back here. Time does fly. Cherry blossoms are their in full bloom now. Everyday when I got to school I pass under the tree and smells so good. What I found so far is that it’s quite difficult and should take time to get back studying routine, as my work shift was quite opposite from what I have at the moment and will have. Oh, and one more. ‘IELTS’ is gonna be really difficult for me… :-( My teacher told me that I’d be alright with it, but how could she know that? I’m so skeptic.

Have I mentioned that Josie got engaged at Christmas time and has wedding in February? I might’ve… Oh well, I have such a short memory. It doesn’t matter. :-p I’m pretty sure that I haven’t mentioned anything about Julie, her best friend, is gonna be one of her bridesmaids. I went to one of my favorite stores and got a card says “You’re engaged!!” LOL Hey, Josie, catch up soon!!! I’ve got something to give you.

Thursday night, I went to Mr. & Mrs. Lay’s to have dinner together. There I met Winny and Kevin as well. Kevin’s became taller than before, definitely. I ate too much to stand up, hehehe. Desert was awesome. Cheesecake and boysenberry on the top. Wow, that was so good. :-p I had two pieces of them. I was like, “No, I’ve had enough”. But Mr. Lay said, “No, you’re not!!” So, I ended up eating two. LOL Next morning when I got up, I still felt full, so I skipped breakfast, and took a longer shower instead. Actually, it was quite nice because my classmates and I went out to eat for lunch. There again, I had a big meal. I ordered beef noodles, but it was quite hot that I needed glasses of water. LOL

Friday night, I went to Nicola’s place. There were quite few people there. Quite international. We did karaoke and stuff. I was really sober, believe me. Whenever I drink alcohol, my face gets red. Quite typical Japanese, aren’t I? I remember everything clearly except people’s names. There were too many to remember all of them. It was a fun night. ;-)

Okay, that's all for now. Have a good weekend, guys!!!

Helloooo

What are you up to?

I’ve been doing good. I’m gonna make a quick note here so that you can read what I’m up to. First of all, on Sunday, I did salsa at the Art Gallery. Well, didn’t feel like doing it, but I was kinda forced to do that. Here’s the summary of it… I went to a wrong place at a wrong time. Just after I walked in the Gallery, I saw two instructors looking for someone. I should’ve noticed what would come, eh. I walked passed them then turned to see what they were doing(I shouldn’t have done that either). At this very second, my eyes met the instructor’s and she asked me what I was up to and if I’d like to join them. Unless she wasn’t beautiful, I wouldn’t have joined it. Hehehe, just kidding. They only had a couple of men there, so it was okay. I kinda enjoyed, but honestly I was too busy to follow the steps not to stamp on someone’s feet. I f I had joined from the beginning, it’d have been okay though. I had a chat while dancing… just if you call it “dancing”. LOL My partners were Leslie, Karen, Christie and more as we swapped partners quite often. It was like

---Hi, nice to meet you. I’m blah blah. It’s bit hard, isn’t it?
---Yeah, nice to meet you to. I’m blah blah. Yeah, it’s pretty hard. Oh, see ya. LOL

Probably Emma knows what it’s like as you and I went to that kind of dance lesson, didn’t we? The one I had on Sunday was an introduction of salsa, so yeah, it was exactly the same kind. I was gutted after the lesson. Didn’t have much energy to go see the galley. Oh well. :-/

I started school today. I went straight to the class this morning without a test. That’s why I was at the same school before and they’ve got my study record. My classmates are cool. Easy to get along with. I’m settling down well, I think. What I wanna do at the next stage is catching up with my friends here. J

Okay, time to go to bed now. Ooops, one more report here. I had a Cookie Time today. I was in two minds which one is better, but I chose a new one which looked like a double choco. OMG, it was GOOD. I'm gonna have one soon, which I'm sure of.

Am I silly? I forgot writing about my visiting Mr.&Mrs. Lay!!! Yeah, I did visit them without any notice. Hehehe, it must've been a shock for them. Like I opened the door and said "Surprise!!" LOL They've got a little dog named 'Baxter'. Can't spell the name correctly though. He's very cute. ;-) It was real nice to catch up with them. What could be more exciting than seeing my friends and people I care about. Well, still have heaps to go. Go me!!! Okay, that's all I think up to now. See ya later.

New Zealand Ho Ho Ho!!!

How you doin'?

I'm gonna tell you the biggest change recently I've had. Well, now I'm in New Zealand both mentally and phisically. Can you believe that I'm here? Hehehe. Oh well. ;-) When I got here, I felt as if it was years and years that I've been away from here. It wasn't just like a year and half for me. Now getting here freshens me up again. It's gonna be a really nice year if I'm not bothered to make every bit of effort out of me. I'll make use of being here, getting to know people and more and more stuff. I gotta, eh?

13th and 14th, 06.
It's so great to come back to New Zealand. The flight was okay, except a real noisy woman in the plane from Singapore... What a bad luck we had her in the longer flight... *sigh* She was saying that she was supposed to have an aisle seat or she'd asked for one, but she didn't as I'd got it actually... It was so awkward to talk to her, but, you know, it wasn't my fault at all. The ground staff in Kansai Airport asked me which seat I'd like to have and I said an aisle seat, and I got it. The surprise thing is that Singapore Airline let her move to their Raffles class, so called business class. What the hell was that? How lucky she was!! Should I have complained about my seat for no reason? Possibly like this seat isn't comfortable or... what else? Oh well, never mind. I was lucky, too. Since I didn't have the noisy woman around me. Thank God!!! I had a pretty quiet flight and the woman who had the window seat was really nice and we swapped our seat a couple of times, which was quite nice to make yourself feel not bored. We talked quite a lot thanks to the noisy woman's leave. Hee hee.

I came across a Kiwi girl in Sigapore, who's from Auckland. We had a chat for a while and then decided to go to a gym so that we could have a good sleep during the flight. I though it was a great idea, but in fact, I didn't sleep so much in the plane... I was watching X-Men 1, 2, 3 and The Da Vinci Code. I know I'm crazy, but they kept coming and couldn't resist. At least I should've ordered a couple of glasses of wine instead of orange juice. :-( Big mistake, ne? Good amount of alcohol must've been good on me at that time. Singapore Airline's very good cos I had my personl TV monitor. On the other hand, it was bad for my health. LOL Oh well, I'm getting over this jetlag thing soon, I hope.

Mark, my host-father picked me at the airport. He's in the NZ fire service, so I spotted him without any difficulty. I met Kieran when he got back from school, he's 14 yrs old and a real fun boy. He said he's into biking and might get a new one. :-) Then I met Jan the last. She seemed really kind and she is!!! She cooks really well. I'll be fat... Awwwwwwwww. That night we watched "Rock Start Supernova" on TV. It's a show like "American Idol". I was dozing off...nealry fell asleep on the sofa. Hahaha. I bet I was gutted. :-p

Friday, the 15th.
I met up with Nicola at the Polytech. I was late, really sorry!!! I thought I got up at 8:50am or 9:50am... My watch said so. But the clock in the kitchen said "10:50am". I was so confused that I turned on a TV and cheked it. It was actually 10:50am. What happened to me was that I'd adjusted my watch when I got in Singapore, but I did nothing on it since that. Yeah, it was just "OH MY GOD!!" I was supposed to see her ten to twelve. :-( I didn't have her phone number at that time, so I hurried to the shower room and had a quick shower, then ran to the bus stop. Luckily, I had a bus just coming in 2 mins. I took that bus and went into the town. I did think of taking a free shuttle to the Tech, but it didn't seem to come like...forever. Therefore, I walked on and on. LOL It was fun to have a look around places amd things where I used to walk.

When I got to the Tech, Nicola had been already there, of course. I was late, maybe 20mins. SO SORRY, really. It was so awekward to see her in here. I was too happy to talk so much. LOL Anyway, she gave me a tour to her office and introduced me to her co-worker, who's Japanese. She's very nice. We talked about some things and then left when Nicola's friend arrived. We had Chinese for lunch, which was so big that I felt soooooo full. LOL After lunch, I had a walk around the town, and met Trish at 4pm. I talked to her on the phone, but hadn't seen her for a year and half, so it was REALLY great to catch up with her. :-) Oh, she hasn't changed at all. She's as cheerful as before. That's one of the awesome aspects of her personality, I reckon. That night, I had a glass of wine, and watched rugby games which turned out to be less interesting than I had expected. Well, that happens from time to time. ;-)

Saturday, the 16th
It was a beautiful day today. Went out to the Hagley Park with Trish, Nicola and Japanese high school kids to have a picnic under cherry blossoms. When the wind blew, petals fell off like snowflakes from the sky. Into my glass, too. It was... dunno how to say in English. Maybe elegant or graceful as cherry blossoms are fragile or short-lived, so I felt like that. :-) There are hundreds of thousands of daffodils in the park. Like a massive yellow/white carpet!!! I'd better put a photo here so that you can have a look, eh. Seeing is believing, so I'll do that at some stage. ;-)

At Riccarton Mall, I met up one of my old friends Julianne at last!!! I was so excited to see her. So was she. Hahaha. She was like "Takaaaashiiiii". LOL She gave me a quick tour of the mall, as it'schanged a lot since I went back to Japan. Then we went to Burger King and had an early dinner. Guess what? We were serving to death!!! Now we are in the University of Canturbery doing our stuff. Me, creating a new post, she's doing her project or... netsurfing. Whatever. LOL

I'll update soon, or as often as I can, okay?

Getting ready for NZ Adventure II

Not much to say at the moment. Well, I've been busy, but kinda lazy as well, but finally I started to feel that I have to pack my stuff. God, my suitcase is gonna be full of clothes since it's spring and soon the summer comes in New Zealand. I need a few sorts of clothes... Maybe a bit of winter, and mainly summer and autumn clothes. Phew, gotta get it started!!!

Good bye for a while to my friends in JPN. ;-)
