Ultimate Frisbee is...(click here)
I played "Ultimate Frisbee" for the first time today. It was 100% fun. Fay gave me a lift to "Hidaka", 50mins away from Takeno. We met up at the station then went past Toyooka city. There were 6 others at the ground. 2 of them are from the country of long white clouds, NEW ZEALAND. Wicked!! They might've surprised to see me in the All Black jersey. However, Mel was wearing a ABs cap, so soon I realized he's from NZ. LOL
First of all, we practiced in pairs. My partner was Fay. At first, I felt it was difficult to throw a disc from the side. However, as time went by, I felt like I was getting used to the feeling. It didn't take me long to know how my fingers touch a disc, how to release it. I got a knack of it petty soon. Fay was shouting at me, "How can you do that?" When she threw sideways, I had to be ready to get the disc before it's rolling off far away. LOL All I had to learn is how much force I need to aim at my partner. And another important thing is the wind effect. If you throw a disc high, it definitely catches winds and it's blown.
Then we played a 4 vs4 game. I was with New Zealanders Luke, Mel and Wakako(she's not a Kiwi, okay? Just for your reference). Luke's good at offensive role and Mel's got really good deffensive skills. Luke got a few touch downs. Mel cut opponents' passes over and over again. Oh, I got a few touch downs as well. Guess what? I was running around the field like a crazy. LOL I didn't notice that I'd passed an end line. The field was so tiny. Ha ha ha. I gave Luke a nice passes. I'm gonna be a fantasista soon. ;-p
What I'm afraid the most at the moment is that I might get sore muscles on my thighs. It's so dull now. Maybe I won't be aboe to walk like I do. LOL Hope I will manage to sit down, stand up, etc. I've got to get fit as soon as possible before the tournament on the 9th and 10th of July. Okay, another training session next Monday. It'll be real fun. :-D Okay, it's time to go to bed. I'll sleep like a log. Zzzzzzzzz.......
