!!!Time to update!!!

Okay, here's an update for filling the last two weeks. :-)

First of all, I suffered from a terrible, nasty and bloody cold nearly for a week... Damn it!!! I'd planned to go to Osaka for shopping(mainly books; Eldest by Christopher Paolini, Skipping Christmas by John Grisham, Dragon Rider by...someone and etc...), but on the very day, I felt sick and next day, I got fever which rose up to 39.4C. I suppose you're gonna say, "What the hell is that?" or "Oh, you gotta be kidding". However, it IS true and I did suffer. When I woke up, I felt as though my head was being hit by a hammer or something. My body was like a lamp of iron... by that, I mean too heavy to move and very cold from within. No sooner than I realized my body was weird, I went to see the doctor. At the hospital, I checked my body temparature and got shocked and depressed. You know, the figure makes you feel tired or depressed more than you don't see them. The doctor told me it wasn't a flu, but I doubted it. Thereforem I asked him if I didn't need a proper, detailed check-up. He just said "no". Oh well... he's adoctor anyway. I got some kinds of medicine that day. Lots of pills... Have you ever wished if there were medicine as sweet as chocolate? Is it only me?? Whatever!!! Anyway, I had to be in a bed for a while. The fever didn't go down soon, which irritated me, as I had to take days off from work. Totally, I was absent from work for 6 days including 2 days off which I was supposed to have. Even though I couldn't go to work, the manager was kind that he called me every other day to ask me how I felt. It was very kind of him to do that for me. :-) He's such a good boss that everyone works hard for him. It's his virture, isn't it? I do think I'm lucky not to have a mamager who's a jerk!!!

Oh, I couldn't send out a few birthday cards to my dear friends. So, I'd like to leave a message for you, guys!!!

<Dear Sarah and Insa,>

Happy Birthday to you two. I hope you all the best in what you're gonna do. I know you are very talented and motivated, so I'm sure you're gonna achieve what you hope to. As always, I hope you smile a lot this year. Needless to say, more than you did last year!!! ;-) Thanks for being such good friends. I do appreciate that.

Sarah, I'm so happy for you that you got a job in Japan. I'm looking forward to seeing you soon. Come to Kansai area so that I'll be able to go and see you easily. lol Kidding. I'll go and see you wherever you live. Again, congrats!!!

Insa, thanks for giving me lots of good advice and exciting news. I hope you'll be able to succeed in keeping yourself fit!!! Run, run like a wind!!! lol :-p

yours, Takashi

Today, I took an English proficiency exam. I think I messed up the vocab part... Except that, I think I did okay. This exam is one of the measures for studying in te States or somewhere else, so I'd like to get the first grade as soon as I can. If I pass the first exam, I have an interview. But it's not held near my hometown, so I have to go to Osaka or Kyoto for one day. I do wanna pass it!!! Aftrer the exam, I found myself that I'm not good at vocab, so especially I have to enforce that part. How do you remember new words?? Can you give me a tip, please?

Okay, now it's a bit of my recent interests.
1. "Memories of a Geisha" which is now aired at theatres. I'd like to see it as soon as I finish reading a book. There are lots of beautiful descriptions in it, so I'm quite looking forward to it. It must be a good film. And this story is based on a real life of a geisha named "Chiyo", so it must be intrigue.
2. "Usher". His music is cool. He's very talented at singing and dancing. Wicked, yo. ;-)
3. Soundtrack of "the Phantom of the Opera". i think I like musical films such as "Greese", "Moulin Rouge" and etc...

I'll be away from home a few days because of a company trip to Tottori... I'd rather like to go to Osaka or Kyoto!!! Why Tottori!? There's nothing but dunes!!! LOL

Phew, it's been ages since I last posted...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone,

Okay, where should I start? As it's been ages since I last posted, so I have heaps to write at the moment. I can't believe that I haven't written in anything at all for ages!!! Bloody lazy, eh? LOL

At first, I'm working at a hotel near my hometown. It's fun and very interesting. Fortunately, my workmates are so nice and fun to work with, which is really cool. ;-) It takes me about 15 mins to get to the hotel by car. Monthly gas cost is like between 12,000 yen to 15,000 yen. That's okay as it is really expensive. Hee hee. Oh, it snowed middle of December and it was impossible to go home from work, so I stayed over the hotel some times. Well, it's got a huge hot pool, so I enjoyed that. It's kinda cool to be a customer. You know, sometimes it's okay to be served. :-p Guess what? I stayed there for 3 days and there was nothing to do. I got damn bored no sooner than I finished reading "The Chronicles of Narnia" which Sarah got for me as a Christmas gift. Thanks, Sarah!!! I did enjoy it and it makes me wanna go and see its coming movie. Anyway, I got stuck in the hotel without anything to do... On the other hand, it was nice that I was allowed to sleep longer than usual. Now, everyday a couple of office staff ask me if I don't stay over there!!! Whenever they do that, I always answer, "What? I'll go home!!! Why do you wanna make me stay here?" They obviously tease me, eh? But that's okay as they're fun people.

I got cold from my workmate and I was absent from work for 2 days on the 30th and 31st of December. I'm pretty sure that it was one of the worst time in which I see the old year goes and new year comes... Do you know the bells which ring 108 times?? I heard those faintly in my bed. I didn't eat soba... Instead, I ate kinda risotto called "Okayu". Sucks!!! My cold lasts long... now, my mum and grandma have, too. Mine spread everywhere I go. LOL Ah, do you know what my workmates call the cold which spread in the hotel?? "Okada germ". Cool, huh?? It does spread everywhere. Hahaha. Once you get it, you suffer from endless, never ending cough. *Impish grin*

At the end of last year, we had two foreign customers. They're from Osaka; once from NY, ther other's from Canada. I chatted with them quite a lot. They were the first foreign costomers I serve, so I won't forget them. God, I forgot to exchange e-mail address... It'd be nice if we could keep in touch... Why did I forget that?? Yeah, I was so occupied by check-outs... There are not good customers who're late for a check-out. I think they know when it is, but stay in a room over 10am. Such sense of irresponsibility makes things late and also makes me work overtime.

Dear customers,
!!!PLEASE KEEP THE CHECK-OUT TIME!!!

At the moment, I can't remember what else to write although there should be more to tell... Hmm, my brain needs some rest, I suppose. I'll add more little by little.
