Two Days in Osaka with Emma
On the 13th and 14th, I saw Emma in Osaka. The best time since I came back to Japan. It's been three months since I left NZ, since I said bye to her. My family say it's "STILL" three months, but it was really long for me. Time goes by so slowly for me. Like I've done tha same thing everyday, like nothing's changed at all. I flew from "Tajima Airport" to "Itami Airport". It took me only thirty minutes, but I was so impatient that I felt as though it had been an hour flight!!! LOL
No sooner I arrived at Itami, Emma and I spotted each other straight away. :-) When she came into my view, I was really happy. I couldn't believe who I was seeing. Words can't describe my feelings. Even though I hugged her, I still didn't think it was real. She hasn't changed at all. She was the Emma whom I knew in NZ. We were headed for the central Osaka. Well, we kinda got lost but we bumped into Emma's tour guide to Nagoya, so we asked him how to get Namba. Man, it was easy. Ha ha ha. By the time we got to Namba, we were starving, so the first thing we did there was looking for an Italian restaurant since we were bored with Japanese food. LOL The restaurant we found was really nice. The lunch was 1.200yen. You get bread(you can eat as many as you want to), salad, two small dishes out of mashroom saute/chiken something/tomato thing, then tomato soup, pasta, dessert(chocolate cake and citrus icecream). Oh, we had free drink after lunch. Guess what? A glass of wine was only 150yen. We had one each. It was easy to drink. :-)
After lunch, we walked around and had a look at some shops such as a 100yen shop. Hee hee. Emma got some souvenirs there. We took "Puri-kura"(Print Club) which was real fun. I'll keep them in my diary. We shopped around Namba area. The area is really cool. We didn't have any fixed plans, so our excursion was like "Oh, that shop looks nice, go in" one. Ha ha. Emma got a pair of cute sandals. They do suit her. :-) I also got a pair of "VANS" shoes. Emma helped me choose ones. It's so fun to go shopping with her. I think I havent done that in NZ. Shame, eh? After that, we found a cool "Osaka Omiyage" shop. Man, it's full of "Takoyaki" and "Kan]sai-ben" stuff. Okay, some photos are here.

We walked quite alot. Guess what? We walked one station without noticing. LOL It was the end of the first day(13th). I was supposed to take lots of photos with her, but we talked a lot instead. It was much more fun than stopping and taking photos. I wanted to fill the time I haven't seen her, I haven't hear her voice. That may sound stupid, but that's what I felt. I wanted to see her smile than seeing her through a camera. After I said "see ya" to her, I was headed for Nara to stay over at my aunty's place. Oh, I forgot to say... It was a really hot day!!! OMG, I couldn't sleep well. It was the first time for me to turn the airconditioner on while I was asleep. :-( When I woke up the next day(14th), I felt my throat was so sore. Aww, not good...
On the 14th, we met up at 10am again. Again, we spotted each other straight away. Emma said that she'd been sick, so I was anxious, but she said she was okay. I hope she said the truth. My anxiety was swept away by her smile. As it was the same one I saw the other day, I felt relieved. :-) We decided to go to karaoke and we sang heaps of songs together and ran out of our voices. LOL We sanf almost all the BSB's songs. Emma sang Celine Dion's songs which were so beautiful that I was deeply touched... To be honest, I was welling up a bit. No bluff. Seriously. Those songs were really really beautiful. :-) I was so glad that she still remembered my favorite songs such as "Livin' On A Prayer". That song always reminds me of "Grumpy Mall" when we went out to dance for the first time. One song can bring back lots of memories to me. ;-) We drunk heaps of soft drinks, ate chips etc... I was so stuffed. LOL I took some photos at karaoke, so I'll put them here...

Time passed so fast in the last two days. When I had to say bye to her, I was so sad. I felt like as though the two days of fun was swept away by the waves of facts that I can't see her, her smile again for a while, I'd go back to my hometown again, I wouldn't be able to see her off... I don't know how many times I smiled in two days. That's because she put smiles upon my face over and over again. I really had a great time thanks to her. I'd like to say thank you to her. She made my day. :-D Lots of thanks to her... The meeting with her made me wanna go to NZ more and more. I'll go there definitely. This is my life and what I wanna do at the moment...well, at least for a while. You know, I had a great time in NZ, so I'll go back. "I'll be back", a quote from "Terminator".
Emma, I dunno when you read this post or if you read, but I hope you'll have a great time in Japan and I wanna let you know that I'm glad I saw you in Japan. You can come to my hometown whenever you want to. Don't forget that you're always welcome. Everyone's waiting for you. :-) Again, thank you for giving me a great time. I'll never forget it.
